Vintage Unsmoked Meerschaum Pipe! Sultan With Turban, Man Head, Beard!

Unsmoked and never used! Bearded Man or Sultan in Turban, Meerschaum Pipe - Featherweight pipe is a carving of a bearded man wearing a turban with a decorative design. The pipe sits with a little tilt but will not fall over. It has a light tan translucent bent stem and is well priced for a small solid block meerschaum pipe.
This is a great vintage pipe, they are typically hand carved (although I am unable definitively confirm it). The bottom of the nose has a small chip in it, as shown, as befits a vintage item.
Measures 6 inches long, 3 inches tall.
Generally, After a meerschaum pipe is carved it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long lasting durability.
