Vintage Hand Carved Meerschaum Tobacco Smoking Pipe SET of 3 w/ Original Box.
This auction is for a set of THREE original vintage Meerschaum pipes in their original box. These pipes were acquired an individual that purchased them over 50 years ago. "
A meerschaum pipe is a smoking pipe made from the mineral sepiolite, also known as meerschaum." The intricate hand carved detail in these pipes is amazing.
The box measures approx. 12.5" long by 5" wide and 2.5" deep.  The largest of the three pipes (dog) measures  a large and impressive 11" long by 3" tall and 2" wide. The second one (man's head) measures 5.5" long by 2.5" tall and 1.5" wide. The last of the three pipes measures 6" long by 2" tall and 1.5" wide.
The pipes are in excellent well preserved condition. They were never used as the barrel smoking sections of all three are clear, white and clean.
