VINTAGE HAND CARVED MEERSCHAUM PIPE TURBAN AND TASSEL

Description

My late husband had a small collection of pipes, but he never smoked his pipes at home, the only place he ever smoked them was when he was sitting around a campfire.  We attended many reenactment and rendezvous events over the years, and always in the evenings many of our neighbors would join us for hot coffee, a tune or two on the guitar, and a sweet smelling pipe. His pipes weren't heavily smoked, but he did enjoy them at those times.  This particular one is the head of what looks maybe like  a Turk man wearing a turban with a tassel, the bowl is quite clean with a warm orangish brown tinge.   The stem is clean, and not chewed up, it measures 6" long, and about 2.5" high.  Buyer to pay priority shipping, thanks for looking.
