This is a hand-carved block meerschaum pipe and appears to be in pretty good condition. It also seems lightly smoked. It has a nice yellow stem, probably acrylic, which screws onto the tenon male fitting. I'm guessing the carving is of a fisherman. I could only find (online) one similar carving; it was on the Smoking Pipes site, and they called the figure a Cape Cod-like fisherman. They identified it as a freehand, carved pipe with an acrylic stem -- which confirms my own description. The case is in pretty good condition, as well. See pictures for condition and description. This pipe is from the estate of David Windsor/Bufflehead Pipe & Tobacco (Kansas City).
