Vintage, antique Catholic Priest's ~Sick Call~ Outfit in Wooden Box.
from the Turn of the Century.  (Silverplate is patent dated 1897)
Religious, 'Sick call' or Home visit Travel kit. Carried by Priest for
purpose of delivering Communion, Annointing w/ Oil, and Last Rites.
Complete Kit includes Crucifix altar, with candle rests & original candlesticks
found with set. 2 small platters, annointing oil ewer, & small horsehair brush,
also a wonderfully detailed, small communion cup. These are marked ..

Quadruple Plate , Special Metal
..also includes Glass Holy Water bottle, & a small Book
"Little Path to Heaven"  also from the Turn of the Cenury ~ early 1900's
printed in Belgium.   Set contained in it's original
Wooden Case/Box. Lovely Box with 'Dovetail' corner construction (see close-ups)
also Brass Crucifix on Top, with Corner detail flourishes. (flourish on bottom/Left
corner is missing unfortunately). Interior Purple, plush velvet lining shows some
wear here & there.  Case measures:  10 1/2"  x  11 1/2"  , &   4 3/4" tall.
