I inherited this beautiful knife 15 years ago, after finding it in the basement of my uncles home… He was a knowledgeable knife collector of only quality blades.

RARE GIL HIBBEN DARK SHADOW DOUBLE EDGE STEATH (BLACK BLADE) DAGGER & leather sheath. This listing is for a rare Gil Hibben Dark Shadow knife. The Dark Shadow (Black Blade) was released back in the early 1990s as a prototype and limited production model. This knife is in mint unused condition with the original high quality Hibben black leather sheath. The handle is made of wood. The pointed pommel is a glass breaker/skull crusher Overall length is 12.75 inches. Blade length is 7.5 inches. The Dark Shadow knives are rare so don't let this one pass you by. Made by United Cutlery. This knife had a limited production possibly in 2 versions (Dark Shadow & Dark Silver Shadow - both in 1990). lists the production year as 1993. The black model was never mass-produced as a re-run in subsequent years.
Made in Tiawan, not in China as the current new Hibben daggers are.
Brand new, w/o BOX.
