Thermo Nicolet FT-Raman Module Laser Interlock Shutter Assembly including 2 mounting screws and washers.
The laser must pass through this shutter system before entering into the sample compartment. When 12v power is applied, solenoids in the shutter system lift the shutters up and allow the laser to pass through. If power is cut or if the cover is opened, the interlock is activated in the shutter is dropped to block the laser. Both solenoids have been tested with 12v and do lift their respective shutters (see photos) although this item should be tested, in a safe manner, in your system to guarantee performance. Since we do not have the ability to test in a relevant device, returns are accepted. Buyer accepts all responsibility stemming from the use or misuse of this item.
