This is a completely refurbished Model 3460 Spark Emission Spectrometer, Calibrated for Al alloys
Swiss made Spectrometer design with a one meter, Paschen-Runge Air polychromator made of cast iron and temperature controlled to ± 0.1° at 38° C.
Grating is 2160 gr/mm.
Configured to analyze Al, Si, Fe, Cr, Cu, Ni, Mn, Mg, Zn, Pb, Sn, Ca, Bi, Sr, Ti & Na.
Expansion to a maximum 60 channels.
Sample stand with Argon purge system. (Water cooled table with self-contained, recirculating coolant system option available.)
Hi-Rep II Spark Source for stable, low background analysis
Simultaneous operation. Analysis time typically less than 1 minute depending on sample type.
Spectrometer control upgraded to version 2 MMB Microprocessor with Status Measuring. Upgraded IVFC Channel Cards.
WinOE V 3.0 Software running on Windows 7 Computer (can be upgraded to Windows 10). Software is run inside of a VMware virtual machine for computer hardware independence, virus protection and easy system maintenance.
Completely refurbished inside and out with new paint, upgraded hardware and completely tested and calibrated.
Calibrated for general Al analysis and ready to be put to use in your laboratory. Includes computer, Alcoa drift standards and manuals.
