    Simmon Omega 6x6 glassless rapid shift type Negative Carrier
    for Omega D series enlargers for
    70mm roll film
    .
    The carrier has some signs of use. The opening measures 2.18 x 2.18 inches (56x56mm) which leaves a margin around the negative for the plates to clamp on.
    The width between the negative guide pins is 2.81 inches (71mm).
    The width of the carrier is 14 inches.
    The plates are perfectly flat.
    The wings hold the roll film as it is moved through the carrier.
    I found this carrier in the estate of a photographer who used a lot of roll film.
    He apparently used it in a Hasselblad.
    There was a lot of bulk 70mm roll film in boxes, as well as empty 70mm Kodak cassettes.
