Particle Measuring Systems LAS-X Laser Aerosol Spectrometer
For sale- a Particle Measuring Systems Inc. LAS-X Laser Aerosol Spectrometer.    The spectrometer is in good physical condition other than the anodized front panel finish has faded somewhat.  But it powers up as you can see, the internal pump is pumping and the laser is fired up.  All pretty good indicators but given the vintage of the piece I think it would be smart to budget for some repairs and then hopefully be pleasantly surprised if it doesn’t need any.
UPDATE: was cleaning out a box from my move and came across an Operating and Service Manual, which is now included in the sale (but you should remind me or it will get left behind).
Untested other than as pictured and described, sold as is, and NO warranty is offered.
However, IF you pay the asking price and find it has a problem you cannot live with within 14 days of receipt you may return it.
Returns are ONLY allowed on Buy It Now Purchases.

Just so that we are clear on that, this is an item that has not been thoroughly tested.

The unit is missing some of the screws that hold the top in place, I will try to replace them but I can’t guarantee I will be able to find something to match.
And I have been sitting on this long enough that I should probably check and make sure the laser is still functional before it ships, so there is at least a chance I would have to cancel the sale if it doesn't.

Unless/Until they can fix it the only thing I can do is to plug my zip, your zip, the weight and dimensions in at fedex.com to arrive at a shipping cost for your particular shipment.
So if ebay isn’t providing a shipping cost automatically, you can always go to fedex.com and estimate it yourself.
