Omega D Series Negative Carrier for Enlarging 6x6 cm (2 1/4 x2 1/4") Negatives

Description

Omega D series negative carrier for 6x6 cm, 2.25x2.25 inch negatives, I used it on a D2 enlarger.  THIS CARRIER IS FILED which means it will allow light around the image, signaling that the image has not been cropped in the enlarger.  Of course, the printer still has the choice to crop the image in the enlarger but should you choose to print “full frame” and surround the image with a black line, this carrier will facilitate that.  The four screws that hold an aligning frame in place for some Series D enlargers are missing which is why the plate is taped on the reverse of the back plane of the carrier.  This aligning plate isn’t necessary when using this carrier with the D2 enlarger as it has pins at the back of its film stage to which this carrier aligns.  Excellent aluminum carrier.
