    Description

Up for sale is my Ocean Optics QePro Elite spectrometer complete with an AC adapter, a 200um cable and a 600um cable.
You also get a link to an electronic copy of free Ocean Optics OceanView Lite 1.6.7 software so you can start using the spectrometer for real life measurements as soon as you get it.
The spectrometer reads between 239nm and 1049nm and comes with a 10um slit which is user changeable by simply removing 2 screws.  Although this spectrometer initially had a different grating in it with a much smaller spectral range, I personally changed the grating to a 300 grooves/mm grating which provides for a larger spectral range.  It was then wavelength recalibrated and extensively tested by myself.  I am so confident in this spectrometer that I give a 30 day full money back warranty for ANY reason.   Cosmetically, it has a few scratches on the top and also what looks like glue residue near the SMA-905 input port but it is purely cosmetic.
This model spectrometer, among other things, is known for detecting very low light levels without being drowned in noise.  Although this spectrometer is capable from 239nm to 550nm, through my experiments, I find it optimized at reading 550nm to 1049nm.  Please view my 5th picture showing an Ocean Optics HG-1 mercury argon light source (light source not included).  Please view my 6th picture showing this spectrometer running at a cool -20.1 Celsius.  All in all, this is a great spectrometer so I am sure the new owner will be very happy with it, and I guarantee it.  Thank you.
I have been an eBay member since 2001 with excellent positive feedback.  I am pretty familiar with this spectrometer so if you have any questions please scroll up and click "contact seller".  Thank you.
If you have any questions about the free software, please Google "Ocean Optics OceanView Lite 1.6.7".  Thank you.
Shipping costs will be paid by the buyer and will be determined at a later time.
