Meerschaum Pipe EAGLE TALON or DRAGON CLAW Holding Egg c1900 Smoking Antique

I have up for sale a wonderful antique / vintage original circa 1890s to early 1900s Hand Carved Meerschaum Pipe with either an Eagle Talon or Dragon Claw holding an Egg design. It has an amber bakelite stem that screws into the main pipe body. There are no markings to identify the maker but as you can see its wonderfully carved and has nice coloration from age and use. There is one small spot of imperfection as noted in the condition report and shown on several of my last pics.
The pipe measures approx 6" total length. This is an old original circa 1900 give or take. The stem tests out for bakelite and has a metal threaded post the screws into the pipe itself.
I am an antique dealer not an expert when it comes to old pipes , so ask all pertinent questions prior to purchase.  View each and every pic to help assess condition.
ONLY THROW OUT THE BOXES AND PACKAGING AFTER YOU HAVE INSPECTED THE ITEM OR ITEMS AND FIND NO DAMAGE other than what may be noted in the condition report or shown in the pics.
IN THE RARE EVENT YOU RECEIVED THE ITEM AND IT IS DAMAGED  -CONTACT ME ASAP -  KEEP THE BOX AND ALL PACKAGING MATERIALS JUST AS THE ITEM ARRIVED AS THEY WOULD BE NEEDED TO HELP PROCESS THE INSURANCE CLAIM.  YOU WOULD BE REQUIRED TO HELP WITH THE INSURANCE CLAIM . SAVE THE BOX AND ALL PACKAGING ,PICS OF THE OUTER BOX AND INNER BOX , AND OF THE DAMAGED ITEM WOULD BE REQUIRED. WITHOUT THESE PICS, YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND IF I CAN NOT PROCESS THE CLAIM - YOUR HELP IS REQUIRED. THIS IS PART OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITY WHEN IT COMES TO DAMAGE. I PACKAGE TO THE VERY BEST OF MY ABILITIES BUT SOMETIMES THINGS HAPPEN THAT ARE OUT OF OUR CONTROL.
