KUKURI by Dragonfly Kukuri's and Knives.  Here is the Americana Series of Kukuri/fixed blade combination package as done by Dragonfly Kukuri and Knives out of Calif.  The fella that owns the company is an enthusiast for Kukuri's of all sorts and sells them through his company when he can obtain them which it seems to be a hit or miss proposition.  Not to say that he doesn't come through with delivery but it takes a good long while to get them.  The quality of the kukuri and this hunting knife are first rate in heat treat and execution.  The pins on the scales of both are a tiny bit proud but the handle and actual blades are very  well done.  I own 2 sets of these fine knives and am keeping the first one I purchased.  I would say the build quality of the blade itself and the heat treat is easily on par with a Tora blade or Kalish and HI.
The spine thickness is not overly thick which keeps the weight down to a manageable level as in not overly heavy in the extreme.  It is convex ground as is the knife to a near 0 edge and both are razor sharp.  The wood for the handles is pretty nicely grained rosewood.  Both are full tang and the hunting knife can be removed from the kukuri scabbard and worn seperately of so desired.  The frog for the belt on the kukuri sheath can also be removed so the knife can be carried in a back pack if so desired or worn on a belt off side.  The sheaths are very well done and actually some of the better kukuri sheaths I've used.  Anyways I don't believe he offers this combo anymore so these are as rare as hens teeth.  I'm charging a flat rate shipping on this item and it may be more or less depending on where one lives.  USPS shipping rates have gone through the roof.  thanks
