The Gerber (30-000176) Epic Knife features a unique, dynamic design with a modified drop point blade. Its blunt tip, integrated bottle opener, and textured, glass-filled nylon handle deliver durability and ease of use, while its compact size and rigid locking case make transport easy--either tip up or tip down. It also comes with a reversible pocket clip.
Partially Serrated Fixed Blade for Versatility
Whether you're backpacking, packing a survival kit to keep in your car, or filling your work truck with everyday essentials, the Gerber Epic Knife delivers. Featuring a 3.45-inch partially serrated blade, this knife makes quick work of sawing through nylon rope and other tricky materials. And because part of the blade is not serrated, it also delivers clean, accurate slices and can be easily sharpened using traditional methods. Furthermore, the knife's blunt tip lends it an unusual look and additional strength.
Compact, Easy-to-Grip Design for Excellent Control

Its handle is textured and shaped to prevent slippage, and is crafted from glass-filled nylon, which is both strong and lightweight. The knife measures 7.40 inches overall and weighs in at a very modest 5.12 ounces for easy manipulation and transport.
Big thumb grooves on the back of the blade make it easy to apply extra pressure on the blade when dealing with the toughest applications, while a pair of through-and-through holes in the handle allow you to lash the knife to a stick or staff for use as a fishing spear or as another long-handled tool. The Epic's handle also features an integrated bottle opener.
