The Downwind Series is Gerber's nod to the aesthetics of the past, married with the materials of the modern-day. Layered machined G10 scales provide a grip that increases when wet or bloody while delivering a traditional look. Subtle jimping on the spine and positive control choils throughout the hand ergonomics empowers users to maintain a certain control over the knife. A tall grind is excellent for delivering clean cuts. The Downwind Series is housed in waxed canvas sheaths, paying homage to the tools of our forefathers.
