This is a nice Cretaceous matrix from Hakel, Lebanon. The matrix measures 3 1/2" by 2 1/2".  The fossil shrimp,
Carpopenaeus callirostris
, measures approximately 1 3/4".
The Hakel fossil beds are some of the most famous in the world.  They yield many clues about the evolution of a variety of marine life, from bottom feeders easily trapped in sediment to faster moving fish not often fossilized.
C. callirostris
was a prehistoric prawn that lived in the Cretaceous period, about 100 million years ago.
