This is a large, 15" Bowie style hunting knife with a spear point blade and a comfortable finger-grooved rubber covered handle. Quicksilver brand was trademarked by Frost Cutlery and this particular Quicksilver bowie style knife was manufactured in China from matte finished stainless steel. This item is generally out of stock, hard to find.
This model Bowie, QS-522RUB, is a 15" overall knife, 10" matte finished blade and 5" rubber handle including the guard, all in a 15" black nylon sheath with a Velcro closure retention strap.
The blade is matte finished stainless steel bearing the Quicksilver logo stamped on the front tang and etched on the blade, with China lettering etched on the back. The knife is thin and light for ease of movement.
The brass guard is 3 1/4" long and 1/8" thick, with rounded ends.  There are two brass logo shields inlayed in the rubber handles and the lanyard hole is brass lined.
The black nylon sheath is 15" in length and has a Velcro retention strap. The sheath can accept up to a 3" belt.
