This vintage scientific instrument dating from about 70 years ago is a Spectrometer, signed by the maker "Spencer, Buffalo, NY." The laboratory instrument is used to determine prism angle refractive index wavelength. It has a heavy iron base for stability and turntable is phenolic.
Size is 19" wide, 11" deep and 9 1/2" tall.
