    Description

    Five Meerschaum pipes probably dating from the second half of the 1900's - two have stickers on the underside stating "Istanbul, Turkey 1974." The carving is detailed, again SEE PHOTOS - LET ME KNOW IF YOU REQUIRE DIFFERENT ANGLES. One of the pipes has been used and the stem has cracked / broken (?) and presumably been glued.  I'm going by my examination  - see photos
    Additionally, the head with the yellow stem is easily removable and should screw in to secure it, but it does not. The "prize" is the large carved head that comes in the black case - a very impressive piece, with lovely flowers lightly carved lightly into the underside. Finally, the textured, carved round pipe adds a simple, elegant aspect to the group.
