    Description

    Up for bid is a large knife made by Chipaway Cutlery! The blade is a plain edge, clip point, stainless steel blade that is 10 3/4" long, 2 1/8" wide at the widest point, and 5 mm thick. The 5 1/8" handle is made of pakka wood and bone which is attached with brass pins. The knife is 16 1/4" overall and weighs about 1.5 pounds. The sheath is included. Both the knife and the sheath have evidence of age, wear and storage. The knife appears to be unused as a knife, but may have been on display at some point. Our research tells us that the blade is surgical steel, but please do your own research to verify. The blade is not marked with a metal content. The back of the sheath has the number 318 scratched on it and the button of the clasp is marked 318 with a sticker. A great piece for your collection! The piece could use a good cleaning and polishing, but we will leave that decision up to the buyer.
