Buck 632 Mesa Knife Modified— Read Description

Buck 632 Mesa Knife now discontinued and hard to find. This one has been heavily modified.
The bead basting has been sanded down on the blade to reveal a more satin blade. The handle scales were removed and flipped so it is now thickest at the first finger instead of at the butt of the knife as it was out of the package. Handle feels similar to a 119 handle but full tang, which is what I was going for. I had to sand down the scales and tang to match up as flush after flipping the scales. Tang has a nice polish. Thumb scallops were added to the scales for multiple grips.
Sheath was heavily modified to accommodate the flipped scales. Still clicks in for retention. There is a detent on the sheath that clicks around the front guard. That part was not disturbed and functions just fine. Original belt loop would not work with modifications so I made a leather loop. Not sure how secure it will be long term or with any kind of hard use, so it is up to you to determine if it is safe for you to use with the knife.
No major scratches or wear on the knife. In great shape!
A fun project but it just sits in a box so it should go to a good home! One of a kind knife! Don’t miss out!
