The Bruker Sequenom Autoflex Mass Spectrommeter system offers versatility and reliability for
rapid analysis of diverse sample types. With increased dynamic range, its analytical capabilities
are maximized for detailed profiling of polymers, proteins,lipids and glycans with minimal sample
preparation.
This is a matrix-assisted laser desortion ionization time-of-flight (TOF) mass spectrometer. Provides
better mass resolution and therefore better classification of complex protein fingerprints for samples
such as mammalian cell types. This machine uses Bruker's BioPharma Compass­® software (not
included but available from Bruker) and runs on 208-230VAC, 50/60Hz, @ 2000VA. Cabling, tubing,
and gases are not provided by CSI, and installation and servicing will be up to the buyer to obtain.
We do not offer a warranty with this, and the machine is being sold as is.
We bought this from a major pharma lab in Alabama. It was acquired from Stanford University by them
about ten years ago and was kept in a crate unused for all that time. It is a complete unit with no peices
missing. We removed it from the crate for pictures in this listing and found it to be in beautiful condition,
very clean and ready to operate with very little effort. This is not an item we normally work with, but we
feel positive it will work as it should. It has been quite a learning curve to find out just what it does; there
isn't much information out there about these instruments, but what we have learned is that we have been
lucky to find one in such good shape--- it seems most of these in the field have been gutted and cannibalized
for parts. This is probably the only complete machine being offered for sale in the world. And at the price we
are asking, a rare find, indeed.
We will ship this in its original crate. Being the size and weight it is, this will probably have to be a custom
