    The Scottish Dirk Sgian-Dubh is a small, single-edged knife worn as part of traditional Scottish Highlander dress along with the kilt. Originally used for eating and preparing fruit, meat, and cutting bread and cheese. It was also an essential tool for more general day-to-day uses such as cutting materials, hunting and protection. The accessory was crucial for survival, and is now a symbolic component of the Scottish traditional dress.
    A beautiful take on the classic Highlander dagger. Great for Collectors, reenactors, and any other appreciators of the Scottish culture.
    Made of stainless steel, the spear point blade of this traditional Sgian-Dubh is single edged, razor sharp and features light serration along its back.
    Silver tone casings, patterned with thistle leaves, border the top and bottom of the black composite handle, giving this replica historical knife an ornate look. Cross hatching grooves lend extra grip to the handle, ending just before the flat pommel and its inset, an oval shaped blue simulated sapphire jewel.
    The dagger comes with a matching black composite Scabbard.
