Antique Meerschaum Pipe with Case Figural Ram or Deer WDC William DeMuth Co.

Up for auction is a beautiful Meerschaum pipe with case. The pipe is in excellent condition (needs cleaning.) I can’t really say for certain if the carving is of a deer, ram or stag.
The case is also in excellent condition. It feels very secure when closing and opens easily; the golden logo is embossed almost perfectly with the WDC trangle very visible. The velvet inside the case is very soft. I don’t know how old this pipe is, but I would guess it might be around the 1910’s or 1920’s or before because of that particular logo and a few I've seen online, I would need more research to confirm. You probably know.
It has been smoked and is missing the stem. There is a very small stain on the velvet where the stem goes. Very minor wear on the case. Hopefully, the photos will be the best assessment of condition.
Even though I don’t know much about pipes, it was fascinating to read that Meerschaum is the German word for Sea Foam. …and that this type of clay is made with Magnesium and Hydro Silicate.
Also enjoyed reading about the William DeMuth Company. (by the way some of my ancestors have the name DeMuth.)
