ANTIQUE MEERSCHAUM CHEROOT PIPE CARVED RUNNING HORSES AMBER STEM AUSTRIA
This is a very nice example of a carved Meerschaum Cheroot Smoking Pipe and comes in its original Velvet fitted box as shown. It is wonderfully carved with two running Horses. The carving shows great detail especially on the pierced delicately carved legs and the Horses Heads. . I can see no damage to the carvings. This has the original Amber stem which appears to have been cracked & chipped (and maybe repaired) near the mouth piece. The Pipe is 4 7/8" long overall with the Meerschaum part being 3 1/4" x 2 1/4".  I did not clean this Pipe or Case in any way.....this is as found condition.
The original fitted Case is marked with a printed Gold label that states "Guaranteed REAL MEERSCHAUM & AMBER AUSTRIA". The Case shows scuffing, wear and some soiling on the outside. This open and closed as it should and the clasp works well. P
