    Description

Lightly smoked, highly detailed unusual example of an antique Meerschaum pipe that has carved amber accents. I'm told this is a depiction of the Flemish King Gambrinus. The king sits on an ale barrel nestled in the crook of the carved horn shape sporting a sword, amber crown, draped coat and holding an interesting shape against the left arm that I think is a stalk of hops. Overall very good condition antique Meerschaum pipe and fitted lined leather case. The length of the pipe from bowl to stem is 5 3/8" and it is about 7/8" wide at the shoulders.
