This piece would be for collecting or use it for parts not for smoking.I am sure it is antique from the body of it and others that I have seen like it on the internet. I know that there isa stem that is missing.

    I AM NO PIPE EXPERT SO PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF I HAVE LEFT ANYTHING OUT!

    Metal: Silver - couldn't find a purity mark
    Bowl: Meerschaum? A friend said he had one like mine it was Meerschaum
    Hallmark: On the stem it has HG ( in script)
    Size: 4 1/2" on the L part of the pipe where the tobacco goes - where the stem goes part is 5" long- thickness of smoke stack 1 3/4"
    Condition: Lots of dings and dents on the lid- the top isn't glued to bowl - the body of the pipe looks to be
    in pretty good shape and the mouth piece looks ok- I will try any put the most pictures I am allowed to
    show on the imperfections of piece. This piece would be for collecting or use it for parts not for smoking.
