    ANTIQUE Forged Style Short SCIMITAR Hunting Knife

    The scimitar has been a symbol since ancient times, good for slashing and striking  fear into the hearts of even the stoutest opponent. Wide and stiff, they are easily identified by the dramatic curvature of their upturned tips. It creates a beneficial longer slicing area, that will help make your daily cutting tasks easy and fast. If you're a fan of medieval items, or just looking for something out of the ordinary, you've found it. This is a cool and unique item, that makes a nice addition to a collection.
    These are designed and made to looked like something made from yesteryear. New in the box. Made in Pakistan. Thy come well oiled to protect and prolong the life of the blade. Additional pictures are at the top in the eBay picture gallery.
    Full tang, carbon steel. The upper portion of the blade is rough finished with small pit marks, ridges and imperfections. The blades edge is polished, and very sharp. A hard wood handle is fastened with brass pins.
    Included with the knife is a genuine dark brown top grain leather sheath with a 3 3/4" belt loop. There's two button straps to hold the knife in securely.
    An additional note, while the knives are all the same. The finished part of the upper portion of the blade vary slightly from one to the next. Along with the grain of the wood on the handles. In general each one will vary a bit from one to the next and the one we took the picture of. No two are exactly the same.
