ANTIQUE CHASUBLE gothic magic black satin velvet vintage religious vestment

Exceptional vintage/antique religious vestment/chasuble! A most uncommon piece in every way--& especially special because it's black, which gives it a gothic/occult edge. In a heavy, lustrous black satin, with an embossed pattern featuring storks, lambs, fish, loaves of bread, etc.! The front is exquisitely embroidered in gold metal thread, on sumptuous purple velvet--with intricate botanical motifs woven around the word PAX ("peace"). Edged in gold & black cord. Lined in rich pink satin. Zipper at top shoulder--pulls on over the head. Fits all sizes/unisex. Some sun fading (certain areas look vaguely purplish rather than true black) & some mild general wear commensurate with age--but overall very good (& completely wearable/not at all fragile) condition. In the interest of total honesty, I will disclose that this was briefly stored among clothes that were exposed to cigarette smoke, ~4+ years ago--but I personally detect no lingering odor at all.
