You are bidding on a
meerschaum
pipe with a carving of a horse and colt. The front leg of the horse is broken off and missing. The stem is also missing.
This collector's item is from the estate of an ARMY veteran of World War 2. I am to think that the war vet, who served in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, brought this pipe back home to the states. This pipe and its lined holder have been in storage since the 1940s. You will receive as shown in the photos.
The
pipe is in a very used condition as shown by the stains in the bowl and discoloration of the carving.
Please be sure you want this old and fragile smoking item before you bid.
