Agilent Cary UV/VIS Spectrophotometer

Description

The Cary 100 Bio UV-Vis instrument is a powerful double-beam spectrophotometer capable of quickly acquiring data in the spectral range from 200 to 900 nanometers.
Cary 100 design features include:
Quartz overcoating - protects the optics from the environment and allows cleaning without damage to their reflective surface
Sealed optics - prevents exposure to corrosive environments
Variable slits - allow optimum control over data resolution. The spectral bandwidth can be set down to 0.2 nm. (Many instruments on the market are limited to a fixed SBW of 2 nm)
A working range past 3.5 absorbance units - Dilution of a sample, to bring it into a range that the spectrophotometer can measure, is therefore not required
Design overview Double beam, dual chopper, ratio recording, Czerny-Turner 0.278 m monochromator UV-Vis spectrophotometer, centrally controlled by a computer. Agilent Cary 100 has single dispersion. High light throughput optical system with all reflective optical design, high speed accurate scanning. High performance R928 photomultiplier tube, tungsten-halogen visible source with quartz window, deuterium arc ultraviolet source. Agilent Cary 100/300 Series UV-Vis spectrophotometers are manufactured according to a quality management system certified to ISO 9001.
The unit is in perfect working condition and includes the computer, screen mouse and software.
