Description

AB Sciex API 4000 Mass Spectrometer + 027463 R Turbo V Ion Source w/ HPLC (9078) In good cosmetic condition. The Mass spectrometer was tested and successfully generated electrospray spectra from a standard solution. The collision cell works well. MS Scan through Quadrupole 3(full scan mode), Product Ion Scan, and Precursor Ion scan all showed good shaped peaks when tested in both negative and positive scans. Some calibration may be needed. The smaller turbo pump on the instrument was replaced. We performed a function test on Shimadzu HPLC System but did run a full test and are sold AS IS. The digital screen on the LC-20AD does not work properly. The SPD-20A unit may need the lamp and mirror replaced. All the batteries have been replaced on the Franek UPS. It is assumed that the equipment will be installed and operated by qualified personnel.
