It is a wholesale lot of 14 pieces of hand embroidered lace, cut work and embroidered religious symbols, most vintage pre-1960s in age, and produced by a community of Religious in my area, for use as decoration on liturgical accessories and such.
The collection includes 2 pieces of lace: one handmade piece 19“ long and 5” wide, with repeating I H S insignia of the Sacred Monogram and one lace crochet with repeating patterns of cross and chalice. 25” long and 3” wide.
There is one cut-work linen piece- a  5 1/4” square designed as a pall cover, a cut-work embroidery of Cross and Gold Crown and two delicately embroidered images of the Lamb of God, three oval lace portions with Chi Rho /Alpha and Omega designs, and five smaller pieces of crosses in various styles shapes and sizes- a total of 14 pieces in all.
Condition on most pieces graded Very Fine; there is a bit of damage to the top edge of the lace portion with the IHS only.
We are offering these as a wholesale lot of vintage religious lace remnants and would request that you do not ask that we divide the grouping and offer individual pieces at this time.
