    The model TA 305F has long been a popular American-made 12" woofer for use in quality home and monitoring loudspeaker systems. With excellent specifications, good efficiency, power handling, quality build, this matched pair is the latest version of the series. Model TA 305F features a strong motor system, polypropylene cone, vented pole piece, heavy duty foam surround, and linear spider. This combination yields not only impressive specifications such as low free-air resonance, high power handling, and very good overall response, but also T/S parameters that make for reasonable size enclosures and work especially well in ported enclosures.
    The TA 305F woofers were made famous by the Swan 4 bi-amplified loudspeaker system as published in 'Speaker Builder' Magazine, designed by a top loudspeaker engineer to be comparable with loudspeaker systems in the 00 - 00 range. The Swan 4 is a high-end audiophile loudspeaker system featuring high dynamic range, wide linear frequency response, low distortion, and exceptional detail and smoothness.
    TA 305F woofers have been successfully used in many loudspeaker system designs. This very clean matched pair, made in the USA, was removed from a working system previously in storage. Both woofers are in very good condition--see photos. Additionally, both were sine-wave tested prior to listing to assure proper 'as new' performance. Also Included in the photos is a data sheet providing critical specifications, and enclosure recommendations as well as proper tuning.  These woofers are suited for use as replacements and for constructing your own new cabinets to assemble a high quality loudspeaker system.
